How much does a night out in Malta cost?
This autumn, a night at Toy Room, in Paceville (St Julian's), costs €16.50 to get in with a 1st release ticket, booking fee included, and €27.50 with the VIP Ticket. The night bus is €3 a journey. Here's the breakdown ticket by ticket, what the fee and the VIP Ticket are worth, a few costed nights out, and what we don't put a figure on for lack of official prices: drinks and ride-hailing fares.
Entry: from €15, plus a 10% booking fee
This autumn, every party at Toy Room starts at €15 for the 1st release (First Batch). The official ticket page adds a 10% booking fee, so €1.50: the ticket comes to €16.50. On this site, the “from” price is always shown without the fee.
Some parties have several releases. For The Haunted Toy Room, on 31 October 2026, the 1st release costs €15, the 2nd release €20, and the two VIP tickets €25 and €30: from €16.50 to €33 with the fee.
Under the ticket platform's terms, the booking fee is never refunded: if a party is cancelled, only the ticket price is.
VIP Ticket or table: two different budgets
The VIP Ticket costs €25, or €27.50 with the fee. On the ticket page, it promises just one thing more than standard entry: access to the VIP area. So it's an entry ticket, not a table, and this winter Toy Room doesn't sell tables online.
A table is a separate expense. In 2026, at Toy Room, TwentyTwo and Infinity by Hugo's, it was paid in two parts: an amount paid online to book it, then a minimum spend on the night. At Toy Room and TwentyTwo, entry wasn't included. The amount depends on the club, the night and how many of you there are: send a request on the VIP page, and our team will reply on WhatsApp with availability.
Getting there: €0, €3 or whatever the app says
If you're staying in St Julian's, getting there costs nothing: Toy Room is within walking distance, in the same neighbourhood.
Staying in Valletta or Sliema? The N13 night bus costs €3 a journey, paid in cash, by contactless card or by phone, and nothing with a valid Tallinja card. Bear in mind that departures from Valletta stop at 2:10am: to get back at 4am, check the timetable in the other direction with the operator, Malta Public Transport.
For a ride with Bolt, Uber or eCabs, the price depends on the journey: check it in the app before you book.
A few nights out, costed
A Saturday at Toy Room, staying in St Julian's: €16.50 for a 1st release ticket, fee included, and you walk home. That's the tightest budget this autumn.
The same Saturday, staying in Valletta: €16.50 entry and €3 for the bus there, so €19.50, plus the trip back, by bus if the timetable works (€3) or with a ride-hailing app. With the VIP Ticket, entry goes up to €27.50.
For Halloween, The Haunted Toy Room costs from €16.50 to €33 with the fee, depending on the ticket. And for summer, a benchmark: in 2026, the boat parties were advertised at €69, open bar included, according to their official posters.
What we don't put a figure on
Drinks: we don't have official prices for the club bars, so we don't give any. Ride-hailing fares: they depend on the journey. Rather than a made-up average, keep some money in reserve.
Two tips from France's official travel advice (France Diplomatie) that also protect your wallet: don't go out carrying large amounts of cash, and stay alert when you use a cash machine. Malta uses the euro.
