Frequently asked questions

Tickets, times, age, dress code, getting around and VIP tables: the essentials before a night out in Malta, in short answers. For a specific party, its page gives the date, the time, the venue and the price.

The answers

Tickets

Where do I buy tickets?

On each party's official ticket page: the Tickets button takes you there. Payment is secure and made online on that page; nothing is paid on this site.

Do I need an account to buy tickets?

Yes. The official ticket page asks you to create an account, activated by email, before you choose your tickets and pay.

Is the ticket electronic?

Yes. Everything is done online and your ticket is sent to you by email. Keep it on your phone, along with the order confirmation, until you're in.

Does the price shown include fees?

No. The “from” price shown here is the price of the cheapest ticket. The official ticket page adds a booking fee, 10% of the ticket price according to its terms, which is non-refundable.

Is one ticket valid for several parties?

No: each ticket is for one date. If a party comes back on several Saturdays, check the date you've picked before you pay.

What do First Batch, Second Batch and VIP Ticket mean?

They're the names of the ticket types on the official page: First Batch (1st release), Second Batch (2nd release), VIP Ticket (a ticket with access to the VIP area). Each type has its own price, shown on the party's page.

Cancellations and refunds

Can I get a refund on a ticket?

Refunds follow the terms of the official ticket page. They provide for a refund of the ticket price if the party is cancelled; the booking fee, however, is not refunded. As a rule, a ticket for an event on a fixed date isn't covered by the 14-day cooling-off period.

What if the party is postponed?

In that case, the refund depends on the policy set for that party, according to the official ticket page's terms. New dates appear on the party's page as soon as they're published.

There's a problem with my ticket: who do I contact?

The official ticket page's customer service, quoting your order confirmation: they handle orders, changes and refunds. If you're not sure who to contact, write to us and we'll point you in the right direction.

Parties and venues

Where do parties take place in Malta?

Mostly in St Julian's: in Paceville (Toy Room, Sky Club, Infinity by Hugo's on the H Hotel rooftop), in Portomaso (TwentyTwo) and on Spinola Bay (Tigullio). Other venues are further away: Gianpula Village on the outskirts of Rabat, Café del Mar Malta out towards Qawra (St Paul's Bay), Aria Complex in L-Iklin and Toy Room Beach Club in Sliema.

When is the party season in Malta?

Most of it happens in summer: in 2026, parties ran from late April to late September, with boat parties and pool parties from June to early September. In autumn and winter, there are fewer club nights, plus Halloween and New Year's Eve.

Are there boat parties and pool parties all year round?

Mainly in summer. In 2026, boat parties ran from 30 June to 5 September, leaving from Sliema Ferries. As for pool parties, Infinity by Hugo's closes from November to April. Out of season, leave your email on the Boat party and Pool party pages to be notified.

What is a French night?

A French-themed party (a French night) or a French rap showcase. In 2026, there was one almost every night in July and August, from Toy Room to TwentyTwo, plus Sunday showcases at Tigullio. It's all on the French nights page.

Times, age and dress code

What time do parties start?

In the clubs, most run from 11pm to 4am. In summer, pool parties start earlier: 9pm on the Infinity by Hugo's rooftop in 2026, and from 10am or 11am, in the daytime, at Toy Room Beach Club. The exact time of each date is on its page.

What's the minimum age to get in?

It varies from one party to the next: when the minimum age is published, it's shown on the party's page. Either way, bring an original photo ID.

What ID should I bring?

Your original passport or national identity card. Before you travel, check what your nationality needs to enter Malta: according to French government advice, for example, a valid national identity card or passport is enough for French citizens.

Is there a dress code?

Only for some parties: all white for a white party, fancy dress for Halloween. When there's a dress code, it's shown on the party's page.

Getting around

How do I get back after the party?

The N13 night bus links Valletta and St Julian's every night, with departures from Valletta from 11.10pm to 2.10am, at €3 a journey. Bolt, Uber and eCabs also operate in Malta. For return times and venues outside St Julian's, see the “Getting around at night” guide.

Where should I stay for nightlife?

Near St Julian's if you want to walk back from Paceville; otherwise, plan on the night bus or a ride-hailing app to get back. The “Where to stay for nightlife” guide compares the areas.

VIP tables and stag & hen dos

Does a VIP table include entry?

No: the table comes on top of the tickets, and everyone needs one.

How do I book a table?

With the form on the VIP page, giving the party, the day and how many of you there will be. We ask the club, then our team replies on WhatsApp with availability. Nothing is held without your go-ahead.

Do you offer stag do and hen do packages?

No, there are no packages: each ticket is bought on the party's page. The stag and hen page explains how to choose your parties and request a table for the whole group.
