French Border is the Friday French night at Aria Complex, an open-air venue in L-Iklin, near San Gwann, in Malta. Its summer 2026 poster read “Foam Party Projet X”, with a dance floor drowning in foam. That summer, the party ran on five Fridays, from 17 July to 14 August, 10pm to 4am.
An open-air French night, with foam
Aria Complex, opened in 2012, brings together four open-air spaces, eight bars and a shallow pool, for crowds of up to 3,000 people. That's where French Border set up on Friday nights.
The poster spoke for itself: “French Border · Foam Party · Projet X”, a dance floor full of foam, rubber rings and inflatable balls. The official page keeps it short: a high-energy end-of-week party, driven by the music, with no details on the DJs or the music style.

Five Fridays: 17, 24 and 31 July, then 7 and 14 August 2026. The next day, Saturday, Aria Complex hosted the Flirt Foam Party, its summer foam party: two nights at the same venue, if you fancy it.

Before you buy

At the door

Getting back
Decide how you'll get back before you go out. The N13 night bus links Valletta and St Julian's every night, with departures from Valletta from 11.10pm to 2.10am, at €3 a journey; return times are on the Malta Public Transport website. Bolt, Uber and eCabs also operate in Malta.

Safety
The French authorities advise particular caution in Paceville and warn that drinks may be spiked without customers knowing. Don't leave your drink unattended, and keep your phone and documents on you. In an emergency, call 112, the European emergency number.
In a group
Get all the tickets for the same date, and check it together before you pay. Set a meeting point near the venue rather than at the door, and agree on how you'll get back before you go out. For a spot of your own all night, request a table on the VIP page.
